Pakistan’s tallest woman, Zainab Bibi, passed away on Thursday. Zainab, who weighs 86 kgs has one sister who is six feet tall but all her other siblings are believed to be normal. She belonged to Rajana, a place in Toba Tek Singh, Punjab. Zainab Bibi hailed as the tallest woman in Pakistan with a reported height of 7 Feet 2 inches. She was 46-year when passed away. She belongs to a poor family. Zainab had mentioned about her awful financial conditions while giving an interview. She had visited 15 countries, including the UK, France, Germany and Saudi Arabia. She made earnings through public appearances in the country and abroad.
Suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure . She was also under treatment for kidney in Allied Hospital . It is also reported that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had presented a cheque of Rs2 million to Zainab Bibi in his last tenure. She was being treated at Faisalabad’s Allied Hospital for the past two months. She died at Allied Hospital where she was under treatment. In 2003 she was declared the world’s tallest woman, earning her a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. Her funeral prayers would be offered in her family village in Rajana.
